MeInPetra Privacy Policy We collect only the information needed to receive, review, preserve and publish visitor contributions: name, private email address, selected country, visit year, landmark, story, uploaded media, technical security data, and records of the consents you accepted. Original uploads are kept private and are not exposed through the public gallery; public derivatives may be created for approved content. We use this information to moderate submissions, contact you about changes, approval or publication, operate the public archive, issue certificates when an administrator chooses to do so, protect the service from abuse, and meet legal or operational obligations. Email notifications can be disabled by the administrator and may be delivered through approved external providers. Consent records may include the document version, acceptance time, and cryptographic hashes derived from IP address and user-agent data. We do not intentionally publish your private email address. Public pages may show the contributor name, country, visit year, story and approved photos. We retain records for as long as reasonably required to maintain the archive, document permissions, resolve disputes and protect the service. You may contact MeInPetra to request correction or removal of personal information or published material, subject to legal, archival and backup limitations. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Where service providers process data for hosting, email, analytics, security or other operational purposes, access should be limited to what is necessary for that service. Do not submit personal information or images of minors unless you are legally authorized to do so and have any required parent or guardian permission.
